‘The whole organisation of the event handled by Splash was a seamless process. As soon as the Town Council had decided to host the Alcohol Awareness programme it was all very much ‘over to Splash’. The week was very successful and I would have to say how professional all those involved from the Splash team were. The young people thoroughly enjoyed the week and soon felt at ease with the project facilitators; they came away with a better understanding of the dangers of alcohol abuse, not only in terms of health & social issues but the financial impact it can have as well. The project was rolled out in an innovative way which quickly engaged those taking part.
I have to add that their presentation at the end of the week moved me to tears and again having to perform in front of an audience must have given the young people a real confidence boost too. I would certainly recommend any Splash programme to any organisation and I am of the opinion that as a Town Council we should be hosting one each year. I look forward to working with the team again.’
