Recycled Art was a four day project during the Easter 2008 school holidays. Community Artists 'No Added Sugar' led this inspiring workshop whereby the young people took to the local area scavenging for litter and rubbish to recycle into works of art. Old computers were also dismantled and transformed into robots which formed part of a display in the town's library.Other work produced included some impressive large scale paintings.

This alcohol awareness project was a combination of fun, facts & creative artwork which aimed to give the young people present a better understanding of: how alcohol can become addictive how it effects their health & well-being the social implications for the individual, their family and the wider community The project leaders spent a lot of time in one-to-one discussions with the young people as well as time spent creating art work around the subject matter.

Venue: Paddington Farm Nr Glastonbury

A two night residential with British Trust Conservation Volunteers at Paddington Farm near at the base of Glastonbury Tor. The group will take part in various practical tasks including the construction of stiles and a post and rail fence, as well as some tasks around this working farm. We will finish the residential with a session that looks at outdoor survival and bushcraft skills. Those taking part will need to bring old clothes, waterproofs, a sleeping bag, a torch, work boots and come prepared for some hands on practical work. Boots, sleeping bags and waterproofs can be issued in the event that people don’t own them. All food will be included but young people will be expected to help in preparing their meals!!! This day is being run on a Friday to enable young people to return at the weekend with their families and friends to see the dens they have built.
